Dogs off the lead
Meadow sessions in Gladstone Park, planned around its playground, gym and lead areas.
Professional pet photography for Dollis Hill, patient, quick and gentle, capturing the character of every dog, cat and small pet.
For Dollis Hill
Each session opens with time for the animal to explore and relax. Kaushik then uses treats, toys and unusual sounds to catch bright, alert expressions, and rests are given whenever attention fades, which matters especially for puppies and kittens that tire quickly.
When the session is over, you are sent a link to an online gallery and can pick favourites in your own time. Every chosen pet image is retouched lightly and supplied web-ready and print-ready, ready to frame, print on canvas or keep in an album.

Not the first time we have used his services. Excellent with kids and achieves a perfect smile from them. Fantastic experience. Very pleased.
…With 5 children aged between 2 and 7, the youngest of whom had just been woken up when we arrived and subsequently mainly wanted Mummy cuddles, it was very lucky for us that he was also very personable, and good at getting the little ones (and adults!) to smile/laugh naturally while looking at the camera!
Me and my family had a photo shoot here and I must say Kaushik did a fantastic job. We went to review the photos and they were really good. We will treasure these memories forever.

Good to know
Yes, as much or as little as you like. A few frames of you with your pet, such as sitting together on the hilltop in Gladstone Park or walking along an avenue, often mean the most later. Posing is guided, so you never have to work out where to stand or what to do with your hands.
Yes. Dark coats need soft, even light so detail shows rather than disappearing into shadow.
Yes. Young animals have bursts of energy followed by sudden naps, so sessions are kept short and gentle, with plenty of rests. Bring their usual treats, a favourite toy and a blanket that smells of home.
Yes, slowly and calmly. Bring its carrier, a familiar blanket and the treats it likes best, and the session moves entirely at its pace.
Yes. At about 8 miles from Northwood, Dollis Hill is inside the area covered for pet sessions on location. Gladstone Park's meadows and avenues make a good setting, keeping dogs out of the playgrounds, outdoor gym and sports areas and on a lead in the walled garden and inside the low black railings.
Serving Dollis Hill
Dollis Hill, the leafy streets around Gladstone Park in Brent, is one of the north-west London areas covered for pet photography. It sits close to Cricklewood and Brent, which we cover too.
Gladstone Park, the former Dollis Hill Estate opened in 1901 and named after William Gladstone, who used Dollis Hill House for weekends, gives owners meadows and tree-lined avenues for an outdoor pet session. From its hilltop the park looks across London; dogs must stay out of its playgrounds and on a lead in the walled garden. Dollis Hill station is on the Jubilee line, though a session in a park near home tends to suit a pet better than a journey.
More in Dollis Hill
Dollis Hill pet owners can also book family portraits, headshots and commercial photography with the same photographer. Explore the rest: we also cover pet photography across Greater London, including Kenton, Hillingdon, Stanmore, Ruislip Manor, Hatch End and Park Royal.
Gladstone Park suits a pet session well, though its rules shape where pictures can happen. Dogs are not allowed in the children's playgrounds, the outdoor gym, the tennis courts or the multi-use games area, and they must be on a lead in the walled garden and inside the low black railings, so the session is planned around the open meadows and avenues instead. Those meadows give plenty of room for an energetic dog to run before settling for a portrait, and the hilltop, with its views across London, makes a striking backdrop for a dog sitting proudly in the foreground. The duck pond is lovely to look at but a distraction for some dogs, so it is best approached on a lead. Roundwood Park, also in Brent, has a dog control order covering its entrance and flower gardens, which is worth knowing if you plan a session there. Black and dark coated pets photograph better in open shade or overcast light than in bright sun on an exposed hill. Puppies and kittens tire quickly, so short sessions with plenty of rests work best. You can appear in the pet photographs with your animal or stay behind the camera, whichever you prefer.
