Most sessions last between one and two hours, though it depends on how many looks and setups you want. We never rush, so there is time to change backdrops, adjust the lighting and settle in. Personal-branding and portfolio sittings usually take a little longer.

After your Amersham session you receive a gallery of carefully edited portraits to pick your favourites from. From there you can order fine prints, framed pieces, canvases and hand-finished albums, or simply keep the digital images. Our editing is light and natural, so you always look yourself.

The studio is based in Northwood, an inviting and private space fitted with professional lighting and a choice of backdrops. It is easy to reach from all the nearby towns. And if you would prefer, we are always glad to photograph your portraits on location instead.

Pack a small selection in colours you love, avoiding fussy patterns and prominent logos that distract the eye. Plain, well-fitting clothes almost always work best. Ask us for wardrobe advice ahead of time, and remember there is room within the session to switch between different looks.
