Serving Enfield
Enfield is a north London borough with parks and waterways. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Barnet, Haringey. We are comfortable in every setting, from a grand kalyana mandapam to a quiet family temple.
We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the jasmine and the thali alike. We capture the details too, the Kanjeevaram silk, the temple jewellery and the jasmine, that make your day yours. We keep the calm of the mandapam and the energy of the reception in equal measure.
We travel throughout Greater London for mandapam ceremonies, and Enfield, a north London borough with parks and waterways, is one we know well. We also photograph in nearby Greenwich and Hackney. Close to Enfield, we have worked at venues including Forty Hall, Capel Manor Gardens and Crews Hill Golf Club.
Enfield is a north London borough with parks and waterways, and the site of Britain's first cash machine outside a Barclays branch on Enfield Town's high street. Enfield Town railway station runs services into London Liverpool Street, with the A10 Great Cambridge Road crossing the borough. We often take couples to Trent Park, a large country park with woodland, lakes and open meadows for a few quiet portraits, and Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house set in parkland is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
The nichayathartham, mehndi and sumangali prarthanai, where the warmest moments often happen.
The seven steps the couple take together around the homam, photographed as the marriage is sealed.
The tying of the thali to the sound of the nadaswaram, the heart of the wedding, captured with reverence.
Every tradition
The maalai maatral, when the couple exchange garlands lifted high, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. We photograph the lighting of the homam and the blessings of the priests with respect. We photograph the kanyadaanam, the giving away of the bride, at the mandapam with quiet care.
We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals. The celebration often opens with the nichayathartham, the betrothal, and we are there for it. The sumangali prarthanai gathers the married women of the family in blessing, and we photograph it with care.

The whole celebration
We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down. We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual.
The story often ends with the grihapravesam that welcomes the bride into her new home. We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost.
Why choose us
Our experience across Iyer, Iyengar and Sri Lankan Tamil weddings runs deep. We understand how much the thali tying means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to temples and mandapams across London and the surrounding area. From London we reach Enfield easily, and we know the kalyana mandapams of Greater London well.

Where we travel
We photograph Tamil weddings throughout London and the surrounding area, and Enfield is firmly within the area we cover. We are glad to discuss your temple, your mandapam and the journey between your venues when you enquire.

Good to know
Yes. Our style is mainly documentary, capturing the day as it happens, but we will also gather a handful of timeless couple and family portraits, so your album holds both the natural energy and a few quieter, elegant images.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your Tamil celebration is held in something beautiful you can pass down through the family for generations to come.
Very much so. The muhurtham, the auspicious hour, sets the pace of a Tamil wedding and is often very early in the morning. We arrive in good time so the kanyadaanam, the thali tying and the saptapadi are all captured calmly and on schedule.
Most Tamil weddings run from the early-morning muhurtham through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations with a nichayathartham and mehndi, we tailor the hours to the events that matter most to you.
Yes. We stay through the evening to capture the reception in Enfield, from the couple's grand entrance and the greeting of the guests to the celebration, right to the very last person to leave.
