When there is time for couple portraits, Trent Park, a large country park with woodland, lakes and open meadows is a favourite, and Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house set in parkland makes a memorable setting.

The garland exchange, when the couple meet with the jaimala, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. We are mindful of every family's customs at the ceremony, and photograph them exactly as they happen. The kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap are photographed with quiet care.

For Gujarati families the garba and the raas fill the evening with colour and movement, and we love photographing them. The sangeet is an evening of music and rehearsed dance, and we capture all of its energy. The bhangra and the dancing carry the reception late into the night, and we stay for all of it.
