Thirty to forty minutes is the working window, and it is short on purpose. We start with the still, attentive frames while concentration is intact, then move to movement, recall down a path and the daft ones, which need no concentration at all.
Bring whatever your dog will genuinely cross a field for, and a favourite toy in reserve. Pictures come back in colour and in mono, with a square version included for the ones heading straight to a phone.

What we offer
Off-lead dog photography in Trent Park, worked well away from the fast traffic on the A10.
Short sessions at the dog's own eye level, built around attention span rather than a list of poses.
Cats, rabbits, and nervous or elderly animals photographed at home where they are already settled.
Why choose us
Sessions run on the animal's clock. If a cat gives fifteen good minutes then the session lasted fifteen minutes, since pushing on only produces pictures of an irritated cat. We read each animal's body language closely, knowing when to press the shutter and when to give it a breather.
Detail frames of paws, noses, whiskers and an old dog's greying muzzle are taken alongside the full portraits, since those are what owners remember. Feeding a dog a little later than usual on the day makes treats considerably more interesting, though water should never be restricted for a session.

Good to know
Yes, gladly. Pictures of people with their pets are often the most touching of all. You can be right there in the frame, sharing that bond, or hover just out of view to keep your animal calm and looking exactly where we need it. Around Enfield we plan for landmarks such as Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house set in parkland.
Thirty to forty minutes of photography, with the walk to the ground on top, which matters in a park the size of Trent Park. We agree a meeting point near the parking rather than deep inside it, so the clock starts with the dog still fresh. Most dogs give their best work in the first ten or so minutes, and everything loose and daft comes after that.
Yes, and gently. Rescue cats from London are always welcome, and we never rush them. The studio stays peaceful, your cat sets the pace, and we start only when it feels settled. Patience, not force, brings out a timid animal's real character. Enfield and neighbouring Southgate, Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill are all covered.
Yes. Enfield is a north London borough and we drive over from Northwood for it, along with Southgate, Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill. Home visits suit cats, rabbits, and dogs that are nervous or elderly, since an animal photographed in a room it already lives in settles far quicker than one taken somewhere unfamiliar. Light comes with us, so a dim hallway is not an obstacle.
A gallery of beautifully edited images that capture your pet's true character. You can then pick prints, frames or canvases to display at home in London. Because our turnaround stays quick, you will see your photographs soon after the session rather than weeks later. Locally in Enfield that takes in Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house set in parkland.
Serving Enfield
We photograph pet sessions right across London, and Enfield (Greater London) is well within our regular patch. It sits close to Barnet and Haringey, which we cover too. You are always welcome at the Northwood studio too.
Enfield is a north London borough with parks and waterways, and the site of Britain's first cash machine outside a Barclays branch on Enfield Town's high street. Enfield Town railway station runs services into London Liverpool Street, with the A10 Great Cambridge Road crossing the borough. When a session suits an outdoor setting, Trent Park is a favourite near Enfield, close to Forty Hall.

Trent Park earns its place for dogs on practical grounds rather than picturesque ones. The A10 Great Cambridge Road carries fast traffic across the borough, and the park's interior sits far enough from all of that for a dog with unreliable recall to come off the lead without the session turning into a risk assessment. Where the lead has to stay clipped we use a long line, keep it slack, and take it out afterwards, which is much less obvious in the finished picture than most owners expect. Coat colour decides where we stand more than anything else does. A black dog in woodland shade is two dark things with nothing between them, and no amount of exposure repairs that, while the meadows at low sun put a bright edge along the spine and the separation arrives for free. Pale and sandy coats have the opposite trouble out in the open at midday and do better under the canopy. The lakes are a mixed blessing. An open sheet of water behind a dog gives a background nothing else in the park can match, and it also gives a dog an excellent reason to stop listening, so we take those frames early and let any swimming happen once we have finished. Nervous animals and old ones we would keep away from the park altogether. A garden the dog already uses, photographed low down at chest level, produces a calmer set and a shorter day than any amount of open space.
