Plan on an hour. Everything gets photographed from low down, level with the head, because a picture made from standing height turns a dog into a back and a nose. Bring somebody the animal knows, to stand just out of shot and keep its eyes in the right place.

I went into the photoshoot with reservations, as I wasn’t sure how well my youngest child (3 years) would be in a photoshoot situation. As soon as walking into the shoot and seeing how Kaushik interacted with the little ones, I was immediately put at ease. He amazingly kept my child smiling and laughing for an hour, where I can’t seem to manage to do for 30 seconds!
Great service and fantastic photos taken of myself and family. We were given a very warm welcome by Kaushik and I feel that was also reflected in the photos he took. So very pleased with the photos and would highly recommend Kaushik.
I was nervous about how my 2 year old would react, but we had a great photo session! Kaushik had plenty of props to keep my son entertained, laughing, and happily posing.Afterward, he was incredibly patient as we went through every single photo to pick our favorites, even though we kept changing our minds. I highly recommend his service and will definitely be back once my second baby is born!

- Wanstead Park is a 140-acre Grade II listed woodland park on the site of the 18th-century Wanstead House, some of whose remains survive, and has been managed by the City of London Corporation since 1881. 3

Valentines Park is an obvious ground for dog work, but what actually matters about it is that Green Flag status means a mown park. Cut grass changes how a dark animal photographs far more than the size of a field ever will. Short turf under sun becomes a bright floor throwing light back upward, while the sun lands on the dog's back from above, so a dark coat ends up between two lit surfaces with nothing at all lighting its flank. A camera averages that and hands you a silhouette. Reading the exposure off the coat itself, and accepting a pale blown lawn behind, is the only version that holds any detail in the fur. The cleaner answer is timing. First and last light puts the sun across an animal instead of on top of it, and a properly overcast sky removes the problem altogether, so grey days get booked here deliberately rather than tolerated. Pale dogs, incidentally, need none of this and photograph happily at hours a black labrador cannot. Space is the second advantage. 130 acres allows real distance between a session and the gates, where people, dogs and pushchairs all concentrate, and that distance is what makes an off-lead frame realistic at all when recall is only fair. Anything nervous, arthritic or elderly we photograph at home instead, on floors it already trusts, in short spells built around whatever it can manage.
