Serving Enfield
Enfield is a north London borough with parks and waterways. We travel throughout Greater London for gurdwara ceremonies, and Barnet, Haringey are all familiar to us. We know the local gurdwaras and their early-morning timings well, and plan the day around them.
We are at ease with large, multi-day Sikh celebrations and intimate gurdwara ceremonies alike. We arrive early for the gurdwara start, stay through the doli and keep pace with the reception. We follow your family's Sikh customs closely and photograph the sehra bandi and the palla exactly as you keep them.
From the gurdwara to the reception, we keep the day flowing across Greater London, and Enfield, a north London borough with parks and waterways, is firmly within our patch. We also photograph in nearby Greenwich and Hackney. Enfield and the towns around it offer venues such as Forty Hall, Capel Manor Gardens and Crews Hill Golf Club, all familiar to us.
Enfield is a north London borough with parks and waterways, and the site of Britain's first cash machine outside a Barclays branch on Enfield Town's high street. Enfield Town railway station runs services into London Liverpool Street, with the A10 Great Cambridge Road crossing the borough. For portraits away from the celebration, Trent Park, a large country park with woodland, lakes and open meadows works beautifully, and Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house set in parkland adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
From the morning kirtan in the gurdwara to the last bhangra of the reception, told as one story.
The vegetarian langar shared by the whole sangat after the Anand Karaj, photographed with warmth.
We keep the calm of the darbar sahib and work quietly within gurdwara etiquette.
Every tradition
We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib. At the heart of a Sikh wedding is the Anand Karaj, the blissful union performed before the Guru Granth Sahib. We know the order of the Anand Karaj by heart, from the kirtan to the ardaas and the four laavan.
The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We document the sagai and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us. The mehndi, the jaggo and the maiyan each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.

The whole celebration
We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
The vegetarian langar follows the ceremony, and we photograph the whole sangat sharing the meal. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the langar, the family photos and the reception.
Why choose us
Sikh families return to us, and recommend us, because we treat every laav and every ardaas as it deserves. Couples choose us for our calm presence and our knowledge of every ritual, from the milni to the four laavan.
We travel happily across Greater London and the neighbouring counties for the maiyan, the Anand Karaj and the doli alike. From our London base, Enfield and the gurdwaras of Greater London are an easy, familiar journey.

Where we travel
Wherever your jaggo and your Anand Karaj take place across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time for the morning kirtan. We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire.
