We are at ease with large, multi-day Sikh celebrations and intimate gurdwara ceremonies alike. We arrive early for the gurdwara start, stay through the doli and keep pace with the reception. We follow your family's Sikh customs closely and photograph the sehra bandi and the palla exactly as you keep them.

From the gurdwara to the reception, we keep the day flowing across Greater London, and Enfield, a north London borough with parks and waterways, is firmly within our patch. We also photograph in nearby Greenwich and Hackney. Enfield and the towns around it offer venues such as Forty Hall, Capel Manor Gardens and Crews Hill Golf Club, all familiar to us.

We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib. At the heart of a Sikh wedding is the Anand Karaj, the blissful union performed before the Guru Granth Sahib. We know the order of the Anand Karaj by heart, from the kirtan to the ardaas and the four laavan.

The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We document the sagai and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us. The mehndi, the jaggo and the maiyan each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.
