The short answer
For couples marrying in Harrow, Kaushik Bathia offers award winning Asian wedding photography, with more than twenty five years of experience across every tradition and over a thousand weddings behind the camera. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We photograph every Asian wedding tradition in Harrow, from the Hindu mandap and pheras to the Sikh Anand Karaj, the Muslim nikah and the Tamil muhurtham, across multi day celebrations. We treat the mehndi with the same care as the pheras and the reception with the same eye as the nikah, because every part of your story deserves it. A second photographer, a female photographer for segregated events and hand finished fine art albums are all available, and we travel across Greater London and the wider UK so distance is never a problem.
Serving Harrow
Harrow is one of NW London's great Asian wedding centres, rich in temples and gurdwaras. Couples throughout Wealdstone, Kenton and North Harrow trust us with ceremonies in their family's place of worship and receptions in the county's largest venues alike. At the gurdwara, the couple's walk around the Guru Granth Sahib during each laav is captured with reverence.
We shoot the getting-ready hours as a story of anticipation, from the jewellery going on to the last look in the mirror before the ceremony. We anticipate each ritual, whatever the tradition, so the key moments are never missed. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding.
We have photographed weddings in and around Harrow for years, and Harrow is one of NW London's great Asian wedding centres, rich in temples and gurdwaras, which makes its venues and its traffic no mystery to us. We also cover nearby Hounslow and Ilford. Around Harrow we regularly photograph at Premier Banqueting London, Sangam Banqueting and The Hive London, among others.
A north-west London town best known for Harrow School and the historic hilltop village of Harrow on the Hill. Served by Harrow-on-the-Hill station on the Metropolitan line and Harrow and Wealdstone station, near the A404 and A409. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Harrow Recreation Ground below the hill, and Harrow School and St Mary's Church on Harrow on the Hill gives the day a strong sense of Harrow.

What we offer
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Asian celebration.
Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony and reception across several days, with second photographers for large events.
We photograph the day as it truly unfolds, staying out of the way so the moments belong to you.
Every tradition
A ceremony is a sequence of small sacred acts, not one photograph, and we tell it as the story it is, from the first ritual to the last. Whatever your faith, the auspicious hour sets the tempo, and we plan our positions around the muhurat or muhurtham so the sacred minutes are never rushed for a picture. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens.
From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. We document the engagement and pre-wedding events that begin the journey, when families ask us. The sangeet is an evening of music and rehearsed dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
Getting ready is rarely calm, and that is exactly what we love, so we work softly through the jewellery, the draping and the small nerves that come before you step out. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
A full day of rituals can stretch for hours, so we pace ourselves and pace our coverage, making sure the energy at midnight is as sharp as it was at dawn. Long days test everyone, so we keep our footing calm and our timing steady, catching the guru's words, the shared glances and the quiet exhale once the vows are done.
Why choose us
We have worked in temples, gurdwaras and mosques the length of the country, and that range means your venue and its customs hold no surprises for us. Award recognition matters less to us than the families who book us again for a sibling's wedding, though we are quietly proud of both.
We cover the whole of the UK for Asian weddings, so distance never stands in the way. From London we reach Harrow easily, and we know the venues of Greater London well.

Where we travel
We will travel to your temple, gurdwara, mosque, reception and pre-wedding events, wherever they are held. Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the timings in advance.

Good to know
We have photographed Asian weddings for more than 25 years, across over a thousand celebrations of every tradition, and that experience shows in how calmly we work. We know the rituals, we respect each faith, and our documentary style gives you honest photographs that feel like your day, not a template.
It varies with how many events you have, but multi-day Asian weddings typically produce several hundred finished images once we have edited the full collection. We select and refine every frame rather than handing over everything, so what you receive is the genuine story of your days.
As early as you comfortably can. Popular auspicious dates go quickly, and if your wedding is in Harrow on a busy weekend we would encourage you to enquire well ahead. Once your date is set, a booking secures it and lets us begin planning your coverage properly.
Ceremony halls and prayer rooms can be dimly lit, and we are used to it. We rely on fast lenses and careful technique to keep images clean and natural, avoiding harsh flash during sacred moments. Where a little light is needed for the reception, we use it discreetly.
We do. Having worked at many gurdwaras, we know the flow of the Anand Karaj, from the arrival at the palki to the four laavan around the Guru Granth Sahib. Knowing what comes next lets us position ourselves quietly and respectfully while still recording each meaningful moment.
Yes. Many Asian weddings run across several days, from the mehndi and sangeet through to the main ceremony and reception, and we are happy to cover the full sequence in Harrow. We agree the schedule with you in advance so nothing important is missed, and a second photographer joins for the busier days.
Yes. We are familiar with Gujarati traditions, from the lively garba and dandiya evenings to the ceremony rituals and the playful games between the two families. Knowing these customs means we are ready with the camera when the fun and the meaningful moments arrive.
