Serving Kensington and Chelsea
Kensington and Chelsea is an elegant central London borough. Across Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and the rest of Greater London, we cover the muhurtham, the ceremony and the reception with a careful eye. From Kensington and Chelsea we cover weddings right across Greater London, at temples, kalyana mandapams and banqueting suites.
We follow your family's customs closely, Iyer, Iyengar or Sri Lankan Tamil, and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the homam as faithfully as the nalangu. We document each event as it happens, from the kashi yatra to the reception, so your gallery feels true to the day.
From our London base we travel across Greater London for Tamil weddings, and Kensington and Chelsea, an elegant central London borough, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Lambeth and Lewisham. Kensington and Chelsea and the towns around it offer venues such as The Orangery at Kensington Palace, Chelsea Old Town Hall and The Chelsea Harbour Hotel, all familiar to us.
One of London's most affluent royal boroughs, known for elegant garden squares, Georgian townhouses and the museums of South Kensington. Served by South Kensington and Sloane Square Underground stations on the District and Circle lines. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Holland Park, including the Kyoto Garden, with The Natural History Museum on Cromwell Road close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
The exchange of garlands lifted high above the guests, a moment of laughter and joy.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the muhurtham and the mandapam as you lived them, never staged.
A handful of timeless portraits in your Kanjeevaram silk and temple jewellery, away from the mandapam.
Every tradition
The blessings of the elders and the sammandhi mariyathai close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth. From the kanyadaanam to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandapam, Iyer, Iyengar or Sri Lankan Tamil.
The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. We photograph the warmth of the two families meeting at the sammandhi mariyathai. The celebration often opens with the nichayathartham, the betrothal, and we are there for it.

The whole celebration
The nichayathartham and mehndi are warm, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come. The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration.
For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the ceremony and the guests. From the early-morning preparations to the reception, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step close to the thali tying and when to stand quietly back. A thousand weddings in, we still find every muhurtham unique, and photograph it that way.
We are London-based and travel across Greater London and the wider region for the early muhurtham and the mandapam rituals. We cover the whole of the UK for Tamil weddings, so distance never stands between us and your muhurtham.

Where we travel
Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the early muhurtham timings in advance. We will travel to your temple, your kalyana mandapam and your reception, wherever the maalai maatral and the thali tying take place.

Good to know
Very. We photograph the thali tying, the saptapadi and the homam from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, so the priests and the family are never disturbed and the sacred moments are captured just as they happen.
Yes. We travel to Kensington and Chelsea and across Greater London for Tamil and South Indian weddings. The muhurtham, the mandapam rituals and the many surrounding events are a speciality, and distance is never a problem for a London-based team used to travelling.
Yes. Our style is mainly documentary, capturing the day as it happens, but we will also gather a handful of timeless couple and family portraits, so your album holds both the natural energy and a few quieter, elegant images.
Of course. We regularly photograph fusion and mixed-faith weddings in Kensington and Chelsea, blending South Indian traditions with another family's customs with care, so both sides of the family see their day told faithfully and beautifully.
Auspicious Tamil dates in Kensington and Chelsea book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your muhurtham date and we will confirm availability straight away, and hold it for you while you decide.
