Ninety minutes, of which the children are genuinely working for about thirty. We take whatever needs everyone present while that goodwill lasts, then let the session loosen into something less arranged. Nobody is asked to hold a smile, and nothing gets repeated once it has plainly stopped working.
You receive an edited set. Most of it stays in colour, and the frames that earn black and white are given it. Grandparents get their own copies without having to ask for them, which matters, because they generally will not ask.

I went into the photoshoot with reservations, as I wasn’t sure how well my youngest child (3 years) would be in a photoshoot situation. As soon as walking into the shoot and seeing how Kaushik interacted with the little ones, I was immediately put at ease. He amazingly kept my child smiling and laughing for an hour, where I can’t seem to manage to do for 30 seconds!

Holland Park is where the movement happens, and with a pram the measure of a park is not its acreage but how far the first usable ground sits from the gate you came in by. So we settle the gate first and work outward from there, rather than crossing the whole park to a spot picked off a map. The other half happens indoors, and there the borough's own housing sets the terms. A townhouse stacks its rooms vertically instead of spreading them, so a session at home is really a session on one floor, and if a grandparent is coming, that floor gets chosen by whoever finds stairs hardest.
