Serving Kensington and Chelsea

Asian wedding photographer in Kensington and Chelsea

Kensington and Chelsea is an elegant central London borough. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham. Wherever your events are held across Greater London, we plan the timings and travel with care.

We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the farewell. We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each ritual across every faith. We keep the calm of the ceremony and the energy of the reception in equal measure.

We travel throughout Greater London for temple, gurdwara and mosque ceremonies, and Kensington and Chelsea, an elegant central London borough, is one we know well. We also photograph in nearby Lambeth and Lewisham. Venues we have photographed at near Kensington and Chelsea include The Orangery at Kensington Palace, Chelsea Old Town Hall and The Chelsea Harbour Hotel.

One of London's most affluent royal boroughs, known for elegant garden squares, Georgian townhouses and the museums of South Kensington. Served by South Kensington and Sloane Square Underground stations on the District and Circle lines. For portraits away from the celebration, Holland Park, including the Kyoto Garden works beautifully, and The Natural History Museum on Cromwell Road adds a real sense of place.

Every tradition

Sacred moments, captured with respect

At a Muslim nikah we photograph the vows, the mehr and the joyful moment the couple are declared married. The muhurat and muhurtham, the auspicious hours, set the pace of the ceremony, and we plan around them. We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra at a Hindu ceremony.

We photograph the bridal and groom's preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. For Muslim families the walima is a warm celebration in its own right, and we cover it in full.

The whole celebration

Every event, given its due

For large pre-wedding gatherings a second photographer makes sure two moments at once are captured. A multi-day Asian wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them.

For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the baraat and the preparations. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception.
