Letchworth is the world's first garden city. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Hertfordshire, moving smoothly between Hitchin, Baldock and Stevenage. A female second photographer is available for the ladies' side wherever your celebration is held.

We document each event as it happens, from the mehndi to the walima, so your gallery feels true to the day you lived. We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the dholki to the tears of the rukhsati. We capture the details too, the henna, the nikah-nama and the mehndi jewellery, that make your day yours.

From our London base we travel across Hertfordshire for Muslim weddings, and Letchworth, the world's first garden city, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Baldock and Royston. Close to Letchworth, we have worked at venues including The Broadway Hotel, Letchworth Hall Hotel and Standalone Farm.

Letchworth Garden City was the world's first garden city, founded in 1903 on the principles set out by Ebenezer Howard. Letchworth Garden City station is on the line between Cambridge and London King's Cross, served by Great Northern. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Howard Park and Gardens and the woodland and meadows of Norton Common, and The Spirella Building, a Grade II* listed former corset factory of the garden city era gives the day a strong sense of Letchworth.

The nikah, the mahr and the dua

From the ijab-e-qubool to the dua, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. The ijab-e-qubool, the proposal and acceptance said three times, seals the marriage, and we capture it with care. The dua at the close of the nikah brings the families together, and we capture it with warmth.

The music and dancing of the mehndi are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. The henna of the mehndi is intricate and detailed, and we photograph both the design and the laughter around it. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration.
