Serving Tower Hamlets
Tower Hamlets is an east London borough taking in the Docklands. Your celebration in Hackney, Newham is in experienced hands, from the early muhurtham to the last dance. We photograph at temples, kalyana mandapams and banqueting halls right across Greater London.
We take the time beforehand to understand your customs and the order of the mandapam rituals. We anticipate each ritual, so the kashi yatra, the oonjal and the saptapadi are never missed. Timing is everything in a Tamil wedding, and we plan our coverage around the auspicious muhurtham.
We have photographed Tamil weddings throughout Hackney, Newham for many years, and Tower Hamlets, an east London borough taking in the Docklands, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Uxbridge and Waltham Forest. Around Tower Hamlets we regularly photograph at Town Hall Hotel, Museum of London Docklands and Young V&A, among others.
An east London borough taking in the Docklands, with a diverse community and a mix of historic and modern skyline. Served by Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee line and Elizabeth line, plus the DLR network. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Victoria Park in the north of the borough, one of London's oldest public parks, and Canary Wharf financial district and the historic Tower of London on its western edge gives the day a strong sense of Tower Hamlets.

What we offer
We are ready for the early-morning auspicious hour that sets the pace of the mandapam rituals.
Familiar with Sri Lankan Tamil traditions and the rituals that make them distinct.
A sneak preview of the muhurtham soon after the wedding, with your full gallery and album to follow.
Every tradition
We anticipate the muhurtham, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the whole ceremony. The ammi midithal and the paalikai each have their place, and we capture them as they happen. From the kanyadaanam to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely.
The reception is the joyful finale, with the couple greeting hundreds of guests. The nadaswaram and thavil players fill the venue with music, and we photograph them at work. The grihapravesam welcomes the bride into her new home, and we are there for it.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The henna of the mehndi and the jasmine of the bride are rich with colour, and we make the most of it.
We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception. We capture the reception in full, the entrance, the greetings and the celebration.
Why choose us
We have photographed South Indian mandapam ceremonies across the country for more than two decades. Our long experience means a calm presence whatever the mandapam day brings.
Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the early muhurtham timings in advance. We will travel to your temple, your kalyana mandapam and your reception, wherever the maalai maatral and the thali tying take place.

Where we travel
Wherever your kalyana mandapam is across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time for the auspicious muhurtham. An early muhurtham often means an early start on the road, and we plan the drive to the mandapam without fuss.
