Angel sits on the Northern line and Highbury and Islington station carries the Victoria line and the Overground, so a headshot in this borough can easily be reached without a car. and that is a physical fact with a photographic consequence. Somebody who has just come up out of a tube arrives warm, with colour sitting high on the cheeks and across the forehead, and a camera reads that as redness long before the eye does. It settles, but it takes longer than anyone expects. So the running order gets built backwards. Wardrobe, background tone, lamp height and any trouble with glasses all get solved while the face returns to normal, and the frames that matter get made late in the hour instead of early in it.
