The Baraat
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Natural, unobtrusive Hindu wedding photography in East Ham, from the dhol of the baraat to the quiet vows exchanged at the mandap, with calm, storytelling coverage and fine-art albums.
Serving East Ham
East Ham is an east London area with a large South Asian community and many banqueting halls. We travel throughout Greater London for mandap ceremonies, and Forest Gate, Plaistow and Manor Park are all familiar to us. Whether your mandap is in East Ham itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We balance documentary coverage with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both energy and elegance. We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike.
Couples come to us from right across London and the surrounding area, and East Ham is firmly on our patch. East Ham is an east London area with a large South Asian community and many banqueting halls, and we know its venues well. We also cover nearby Forest Gate and Tooting.

What we offer
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
For large mandap days, a second shooter covers the baraat and the bridal prep at once.
Every tradition
The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We photograph the lighting of the havan and the blessings of the pandit with respect.
The griha pravesh welcomes the bride into her new home, and we are there for it. For Gujarati families, we know the mandvo, the grah shanti and the pithi, and photograph each with care. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them. Many Hindu weddings begin days before the wedding with the Ganesh puja, the haldi and a mehndi.
On the wedding day, the baraat, the mandap ceremony and the pheras build to the vidaai and the reception. Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for the muhurat timing, the early starts and the precise order of rituals. With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across London and the surrounding area. We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to East Ham is second nature.

Where we travel
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request.

Good to know
Yes. A pre-wedding or roka shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day, and we are happy to arrange one at a location you love.
Very much so. We know the mandap rituals by heart, from the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and the saptapadi, and we position ourselves so the sindoor and mangalsutra are always captured.
You will receive a small preview soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery. We then design a hand-finished album that holds the whole story of your celebration.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration is held in something to pass down.
Yes. We stay through the evening to capture the speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, right to the last guest on the floor.
