Serving Rayners Lane

Telling your Hindu wedding story in Rayners Lane

Rayners Lane is a Harrow neighbourhood with a strong South Asian community. We know the venues of London and the surrounding area well, and move easily between the ceremony and reception across Pinner, Harrow and Eastcote. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across Greater London.

We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the glances as well as the rituals. We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the agni as faithfully as the bhangra.

Rayners Lane is a Harrow neighbourhood with a strong South Asian community, and we love photographing Hindu weddings here and across London and the surrounding area. We regularly cover nearby Kingsbury and Hendon as well.

What we offer

Hindu wedding coverage in Rayners Lane

01

The Vidaai

The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.

02

Every Tradition

Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian Hindu weddings, with the customs understood.

03

Second Photographers

For large mandap days, a second shooter covers the baraat and the bridal prep at once.

Every tradition

Every tradition, beautifully told

We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it.

The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy. The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth.

The whole celebration

Every event, given its due

The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. The turmeric of the haldi and the henna of the mehndi are rich with colour, and we make the most of it.

We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle. On the wedding day, the baraat, the mandap ceremony and the pheras build to the vidaai and the reception.

Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and back up your images on the day, so your photographs are safe.

Absolutely. The haldi, mehndi and sangeet are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding.

Very much so. We know the mandap rituals by heart, from the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and the saptapadi, and we position ourselves so the sindoor and mangalsutra are always captured.

Yes. For larger Hindu weddings we bring a second photographer so the mandap rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the baraat and the bridal preparations can be photographed at once.
