Most Rayners Lane pet work happens at Roxbourne Park, and the first thing to settle is not the light but the lead. Whether a dog can safely be let loose there is your judgement and not ours, and it changes very little about what we can produce, because a long training line lets an animal move naturally and the line itself is removed afterwards. There is no journey, nothing unfamiliar, and the session turns into a matter of waiting rather than directing, which is slower and produces far better pictures.
