I love his services, he was very very patient even though we got there late he still took his time capturing a very good family pictures. He also gave us time to satisfy our 6months old one in order to capture her great smile despite the fact that it was passed his closing hours. - Rayners Lane station building. The station building, redesigned by Charles Holden and Reginald Uren and completed in 1938, was Grade II listed in 1994. 3
- Alexandra Park playgrounds. Alexandra Park near Rayners Lane has playgrounds for younger and older children, a new playground installed in 2019, a multi-use sports cage added in 2018, an outdoor gym and a Millennium Garden. 4

Yes. The room is warm, the floor is kept clear, and there is nothing within reach that matters if it gets knocked over. Getting there from Rayners Lane is a Metropolitan line journey with one change at Harrow-on-the-Hill, which can be easier with a pram than driving and then finding somewhere to park. In decent weather we would still suggest Roxbourne Park first and hold the studio back for the wet months.
We do, and it is a real favourite of ours. Babies from all around visit our warm studio, where we take things gently and at their own pace. Your little one stays settled and safe from start to finish, with no rushing whatsoever.
Allow about an hour for most family sessions, with no pressure to finish on the dot. Babies and toddlers get extra time built in for feeding, sleeping and settling. Your children decide the tempo, and we follow it.
The first few weeks are the best time, when a newborn sleeps most soundly and curls up easily. Contact us while you are still expecting and we will hold a provisional date near your due date, then confirm it once your baby is born.
Yes, please do join in. A family session is about all of you, so parents are very much part of the pictures. We start with everyone together, then move to smaller groups and each child on their own, so you have every combination you might want.

Much of Rayners Lane grew out of the Metropolitan Railway's Metro-land scheme, beginning with Harrow Garden Village in 1927. Rayners Lane station on Alexandra Avenue has Metropolitan and Piccadilly line trains and a car park, so relatives can come by Tube or by car. For an outdoor session we would suggest Roxbourne Park, which has a children's playground, a miniature railway and woodland, with entrances on Canon Lane, Castleton Road, Field End Road and High Worple.

You will find the studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, roughly two and a half miles from Rayners Lane. Family sessions there are booked ahead, and prints, frames, restoration and scanning are all done in the studio. Family sittings can be booked Monday to Saturday between 10:30 and 18:00, or on Sunday afternoons from 13:00 to 18:00, which suits school and nursery weeks.
Behind the camera is Kaushik Bathia, FBIPP and FMPA, who established the Northwood studio in 2001 and whose work has earned five European Kodak Gold Awards.
