Every ritual, photographed with care

For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens.

We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family. We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth. The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.
