The Sacred Agni
The seven steps around the holy fire and the giving of the sindoor and mangalsutra, captured with reverence.
Gujarati and Hindu wedding photography in Ilford, from the dhol of the baraat to the quiet vows exchanged at the mandap, with hand-finished albums made to pass down the generations.
Serving Ilford
Ilford is an east London town with a large South Asian community and many banqueting halls. We regularly photograph Hindu weddings throughout Gants Hill, Seven Kings and Goodmayes and the surrounding part of Greater London. We cover the whole of London and the surrounding area, and Ilford and the towns around it are well known to us.
We anticipate each ritual, so the jaimala, the pheras and the saptapadi are never missed. We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits. We read the rhythm of a Hindu celebration and are always in the right place at the right time.
Hindu families across Gants Hill, Seven Kings and Goodmayes trust us with their weddings, and Ilford, an east London town with a large South Asian community and many banqueting halls, is a place we return to often. We also cover nearby East Ham and Forest Gate.

What we offer
The seven steps around the holy fire and the giving of the sindoor and mangalsutra, captured with reverence.
A sneak preview soon after the wedding, with your full gallery and album to follow.
At home with the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras.
Every tradition
We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close. At the heart of a Hindu wedding is the agni, the sacred fire that witnesses the marriage.
We document the roka and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us. The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. For Gujarati families, we know the mandvo, the grah shanti and the pithi, and photograph each with care.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Hindu wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle.
Why choose us
A thousand weddings in, we still find every celebration unique, and photograph it that way. We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of Hindu weddings, and it shows in every gallery.
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We travel happily across Greater London and the surrounding counties for the whole celebration.

Where we travel
