We arrive early for the mehndi, stay late for the walima and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We document each event as it happens, from the mehndi to the walima, so your gallery feels true to the day you lived. A female photographer is available for the ladies' side, so the women's mehndi and celebrations are fully covered.

For portraits away from the celebration, Salt Hill Park, a Victorian public park in the west of the town works beautifully, and Upton Court and St Laurence's Church at Upton, and the town's association with astronomer William Herschel adds a real sense of place.

We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence. We know the order of the nikah by heart, so we are always in position for each moment. We work quietly around the imam so the nikah is never disturbed.

Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The dholki brings evenings of singing and drumming before the wedding, and we photograph their energy.
