The short answer
Kaushik Bathia has photographed weddings across Berkshire for over twenty five years, and couples in Slough choose him for calm, natural coverage backed by more than a thousand weddings and five European Gold awards. We shoot with a storyteller's eye, watching how the day connects together, so the finished collection reads as a narrative rather than a set of separate photographs. From intimate register office ceremonies to grand country house weddings, and from village churches to garden and marquee celebrations, we photograph every kind of wedding in and around Slough. Long experience means we handle groups and speeches smoothly, keeping things moving so the schedule holds and your guests stay relaxed. Engagement shoots, a second photographer for busier days and beautiful fine art albums are all part of what we offer, and we travel throughout Berkshire and the rest of the UK for your wedding.
Serving Slough
Slough is somewhere we return to often for weddings. Plenty of our couples pick a country estate or a garden venue; others prefer a hotel or a village church. We follow every choice across Langley, Burnham and Windsor and the rest of Berkshire. During the ceremony we work quietly with longer lenses, so whether you exchange vows in a church, a register office or a garden, we stay unobtrusive and miss nothing.
Throughout the day we stay unobtrusive and adaptable, adjusting quietly to changes of plan so the coverage never feels stiff or interrupted. Light guides much of what we do; we chase the soft hour, work with candlelight and use what a venue gives us to shape frames that feel timeless. Most of the day we work quietly from the edges, watching for the small moments between the big ones and letting them unfold without any nudging from us.
Reaching Slough from London is quick and familiar for us. Slough is somewhere we return to often for weddings, and we cover weddings throughout the wider area, taking in Reading, Maidenhead and beyond. Around Slough we regularly photograph at Ditton Manor, Pinewood Hotel and Grovefield House Hotel, among others.
Slough is a large town with one of the country's biggest South Asian communities, home to many gurdwaras, temples and banqueting halls, and to the Slough Trading Estate. Slough station is on the Great Western Main Line and the Elizabeth line, with the M4 running along the southern edge of the town. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Salt Hill Park, a Victorian public park in the west of the town, and Upton Court and St Laurence's Church at Upton, and the town's association with astronomer William Herschel gives the day a strong sense of Slough.

What we offer
Before the wedding we talk through the running order and your priorities, so nothing is left to guesswork.
A second pair of eyes covers what one camera cannot, from your partner getting ready to reactions across the room.
Our coverage options are set out plainly, so you can see what you are choosing without chasing hidden extras.
Every kind of wedding
We photograph readings, rings and the signing of the register with a light hand, blending multicultural or fusion elements naturally when they are part of your day. From the first steps down the aisle to the final walk back as a married couple, we follow your ceremony closely and let it breathe without any staging. Some couples marry quietly with a handful of witnesses and others before a full congregation, and we adapt our approach so the coverage suits the scale of your ceremony.
The cutting of the cake and the first dance often run close together, and we stay ready for both, keeping our light soft and our presence easy. The confetti line, the receiving line and the toasts each have their own small drama, and we are ready for all of them without asking anyone to pose. Preparations, portraits, the meal and the party each get their share of our attention, and we pace ourselves so no part of the celebration is thinly covered.

The whole celebration
A pre-wedding event or welcome gathering the evening before is often relaxed and full of feeling, and we are glad to be there to record it. For families marking the days ahead of the wedding, we can be there for the henna, the prayers and the shared meals that lead up to it.
We stay light on our feet through the whole day, moving with the celebration rather than pulling it towards us for a picture. We deliver a set that feels balanced, giving weight to the getting ready, the vows, the meal and the dancing so no chapter is left thin.
Why choose us
Having documented weddings across many cultures and styles, we arrive knowing the shape of a day and where its meaningful moments tend to gather. Five European Gold awards sit alongside a quarter of a century of experience, so you can trust both the craft and the steadiness we bring to your day.
Reaching venues across Langley, Burnham and Windsor and the rest of Berkshire is part of our routine, and we build travel time into the plan so we are always ready before you are. We are used to travelling for weddings, so reaching your venue in Berkshire is straightforward, and we happily follow the day from preparations through to the evening.

Where we travel
It is no trouble at all for us to head out to Langley, Burnham and Windsor and the wider Berkshire, and we often do exactly that across the wedding season. We build a generous cushion into every travel plan, so we are set up and ready at your Berkshire venue long before the first guests arrive.

Good to know
It depends on your schedule. Preparations through to the first dance usually needs eight to ten hours, while a shorter civil ceremony and reception can work in less. We are happy to look at your rough timeline and suggest the hours that cover the moments you care about without paying for time you do not need.
Absolutely. Our style is largely documentary, so we tell the story of your day as it naturally unfolds, without lots of stiff posing. We will still gather the handful of family groups you would like, then step back and let the day breathe. You should feel present at your own wedding, not managed through it.
We are happy to travel further afield for a destination wedding and have photographed couples in some beautiful settings. We will talk through travel, accommodation, and timings with you, so everything is clear and settled well before you fly. Photographing weddings away from home is one of the real joys of what we do.
Yes, and we encourage it. After twenty-five years and more than a thousand weddings, we know how long each part really takes, from getting ready to the first dance. We are glad to review your draft schedule and suggest small adjustments, so the day flows and the photography never feels squeezed.
It depends on your plans, but as a guide we suggest around thirty minutes for family groups, twenty for couple portraits and a little breathing room after the ceremony. We would rather you enjoy the day than rush between set-ups, so we build the schedule to feel relaxed. We will talk this through with you.
Yes. We design fine-art albums using thick, lay-flat pages and archival printing, then send you a proof to review before anything goes to print. You can add matching parent copies at a smaller size. The album is optional, so you can book coverage alone and add one later if you prefer.
We do. Your favourite images can be hand-finished into a fine-art album, designed with you page by page so it tells the story of the day in order. Printed on quality materials, it is built to be handled and passed down. Many couples also add parent copies as gifts for both families.
