The kirtan and shabads that fill the gurdwara are as much a part of the story as the laavan themselves. Before the ceremony the groom's sehra is tied, and we photograph the sehra bandi with a gentle eye. We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings.

The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. The jaggo night is an evening of music, dancing and pots lit with candles, and we capture all of its energy. From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration.
