Barking and Dagenham is an east London borough by the river Roding. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Newham, Redbridge. We cover the whole of London and the surrounding area, and Barking and Dagenham and the towns around it are well known to us.

We capture the details too, the Kanjeevaram silk, the temple jewellery and the jasmine, that make your day yours. We balance documentary coverage with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both the nadaswaram's energy and elegance. We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the mehndi to the tenderness of the maangalya dharanam.

Much of our work takes us across Greater London; Barking and Dagenham, an east London borough by the river Roding, and the towns around it, including Newham, Redbridge, are very familiar to us. An east London borough by the river Roding, home to the Becontree estate, one of the largest council-built estates in the world. Barking station serves the District, Hammersmith and City and c2c lines, with the A13 running through the borough into central London. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Central Park in Dagenham, opened in 1932 on former Eastbrook Farm land, with Barking Abbey ruins and the 15th century Curfew Tower beside St Margaret's Church close by for a striking backdrop.

We know the order of the mandapam rituals by heart, so we are always in position. From the kanyadaanam to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We are ready for the moment the thali, the mangalsutra, is tied around the bride's neck.

From the henna of the mehndi to the songs of the oonjal, the events set the tone for the wedding. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals.
