We are mindful of every family's customs at the ceremony, and photograph them exactly as they happen. The kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap are photographed with quiet care. The muhurat and muhurtham, the auspicious hours, set the pace of the ceremony, and we plan around them.

For Gujarati families the garba and the raas fill the evening with colour and movement, and we love photographing them. We capture the family moments around the couple, not just the rituals. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse, in a car or on foot, surrounded by dancing family.
