For the City of London
We take one room for the day, mark where people stand, and leave the lights alone from the first person to the last, which is what keeps a team page looking like one set instead of five separate visits.
A laptop on the table means your marketing lead can approve a frame while the subject is still standing there. Interiors are exposed twice, once for the room and once for the window. Files arrive cropped square for profiles and wide for a website banner.

What we offer
Team headshots photographed on your own floor, everyone matched, ready to drop into a City firm's website.
Office and interior photography, exposed for the room and the window separately, so the view outside survives.
Conference and event coverage across the City, Clerkenwell, Farringdon and the Barbican, including early starts.
Local and experienced
Interiors are photographed at the time of day the space actually looks its best, which is very often not the time that suits everybody's diary. At corporate events we work discreetly, capturing the talks, the panels and the networking without interrupting the day.
Brand photography can build a reusable library of product and lifestyle images to keep your marketing topped up. The lighting setup used for a team is recorded, so new staff photographed months later match the people already sitting on your website.

Good to know
Yes, across the City of London and out into Clerkenwell, Farringdon and the Barbican. Send the running order and the badge list a few days ahead, because a City building with a security desk will not pass a photographer through without a name on it. Available light carries the room, our own covers anything staged, and awards or handshakes are best set up before people sit down.
Yes. We record the exact lighting and background set-up from each session, so new joiners at your City Of London business can be photographed later to match everyone else. Your website and LinkedIn stay consistent even as the team changes over the months and years. Outdoors in the City of London we would head for Postman's Park, a quiet green space near St Paul's with mature trees and benches.
Yes, food and menu photography is something we genuinely love. For restaurants and cafes in City Of London, we style and shoot dishes and drinks fresh, so they look as appetising in the photo as on the plate. Images arrive ready for menus, delivery apps and social. This applies across the City of London and Clerkenwell, Farringdon and Barbican.
It varies with the job, since a single product range costs less than a full brand and team shoot. Many City Of London businesses tell us how they will use the images and how many products or people are involved, and we send back a clear, tailored quote. For the City of London bookings, getting here is simple: served by Bank and Liverpool Street stations, with the Central, Northern, Circle and Elizabeth lines all running through it.
Yes. We handle the styling, props and simple set-building for product and food shoots, so your items and dishes are shown at their best. If you have specific props or brand pieces you want included, bring them along and we will work them in. The City of London is easy to reach: served by Bank and Liverpool Street stations, with the Central, Northern, Circle and Elizabeth lines all running through it.
Serving the City of London
the City of London is the historic financial heart of the capital, in London. It sits close to Camden and Islington, which we cover too. From our Northwood base we reach the City of London easily, whether you prefer a studio sitting or commercial photography on location.
The City of London is the capital's historic financial district, known as the Square Mile and governed by the City of London Corporation. Served by Bank and Liverpool Street stations, with the Central, Northern, Circle and Elizabeth lines all running through it. St Paul's Cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren is a well-known local landmark in the area.
More in the City of London
The same studio, experience and personal care apply to every service we offer in the City of London. Explore the rest: We also cover commercial photography across London, including Barnet, Hammersmith and Fulham, Newham, Kingston upon Thames, Havering and Lewisham.
The Square Mile's business is finance and professional services, which means commercial work here is almost always people and the rooms they occupy, not objects arranged on a table. Two practical problems follow from that, and both are solved before a camera comes out of the bag. The first is the building. A City floor sits behind a security desk, a pass barrier and a lift that wants a card, and a photographer without a name on a list can lose the first half hour of a booking standing in a lobby. Names, times and an equipment list go across in advance, and we plan to be through the barrier before the first person is due. The second is the light already in the room. Office floors are lit by continuous ceiling panels pointing straight down, which puts the top of the head at full brightness and leaves the eyes dark. Adding more of the same only makes it worse. The answer is a source at face height, placed to one side, strong enough to take over from the ceiling rather than argue with it. Glazing causes the opposite trouble: a desk with a full height window behind it turns the person into an outline, so either the glass moves to the side of the frame or the room is exposed twice and combined later so the view outside survives. Consistency across a team is a discipline rather than a technique. One room, the floor marked, the lights untouched from the first person to the last, and everybody through in short slots between meetings.

How it works
We travel to the City of London rather than asking you to travel to us. On-location coverage suits weddings, corporate events, team headshots and product shoots, and we bring whatever lighting the space needs. The Northwood studio is available too if you prefer it.
