You stand, we set the light, and then most of the sitting goes on small corrections: chin forward and down, weight onto one foot, shoulders turned off square, the collar straightened. Nothing has to be held for long, and no expression is demanded before we have shown you what it looks like.
You leave with the frame chosen on the day rather than a week later, and it is supplied cropped to each shape you asked for, plus one uncropped file so a future template can be fed from the same sitting.

Sittings there are by appointment, passport and ID photos are taken there too, and printing, framing, restoration and scanning are all handled on site. The studio is open Monday to Saturday 10:30 to 18:00 and Sunday 13:00 to 18:00, so a headshot can fit around a commute on the Chiltern line or a Saturday morning.
