We photograph the milni, the morning meeting of the two families, with all of its warmth and garlands. We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings. We know the order of the Anand Karaj by heart, from the kirtan to the ardaas and the four laavan.

We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye.
