We follow your family's Sikh customs closely and photograph the sehra bandi and the palla exactly as you keep them. We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the choora and kaleere as well as the four laavan. We make sure the families are in the story too, from the milni embraces to the blessings of the sangat.

When there is time for couple portraits, Denham Country Park, part of the Colne Valley Regional Park with riverside meadows is a favourite, and Denham Film Studios site and the medieval St Mary's Church makes a memorable setting.

The four laavan, each a hymn the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib for, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them with reverence. We know the order of the Anand Karaj by heart, from the kirtan to the ardaas and the four laavan. We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib.

The jaggo night is an evening of music, dancing and pots lit with candles, and we capture all of its energy. The day often opens early with kirtan in the gurdwara, and we are there for it. We photograph the sehra bandi, when the groom's turban and sehra are tied, with all its ceremony.
