Serving Aylesbury
Aylesbury is the county town of Buckinghamshire. Across Wendover, Thame and Leighton Buzzard and the rest of Buckinghamshire, we cover the mehndi, the ceremony and the reception with a careful eye. From grand banqueting suites to intimate temple ceremonies, we are at home everywhere across Buckinghamshire.
We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way. We anticipate each ritual, whatever the tradition, so the key moments are never missed.
We are often in Aylesbury for Asian weddings, and from London the area, taking in Wendover, Thame and Leighton Buzzard, is an easy journey. Aylesbury is the county town of Buckinghamshire. We also photograph in nearby Beaconsfield and Marlow. Close to Aylesbury, we have worked at venues including Hartwell House, Notley Abbey and Nether Winchendon House.
Aylesbury is the county town of Buckinghamshire, a market town set just north of the Chiltern Hills in the fertile Vale of Aylesbury. Aylesbury station sits on the London to Aylesbury line around 38 miles from London Marylebone, with Aylesbury Vale Parkway serving the north west of the town. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Vale Park, Aylesbury's Green Flag award winning central park with striking flower beds and mature trees, with Waddesdon Manor, a Renaissance style Rothschild chateau run by the National Trust near the town close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati, Muslim and Tamil ceremonies, with the rituals and rhythm of each understood.
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints, designed around your favourite images.
Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony and reception across several days, with second photographers for large events.
Every tradition
At a Hindu wedding, the pheras around the sacred fire seal the marriage, and we capture them close. The blessings of the elders close many ceremonies, and we capture them with warmth. For Tamil and South Indian families, the muhurtham and the tying of the thali are the sacred centre of the ceremony.
From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. The farewell, when the bride leaves her family, is the most tender moment of many Asian weddings. The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy.

The whole celebration
The pre-wedding events frequently span several days, each with its own mood. Many families hold an engagement long before the wedding, and a mehndi or sangeet the night before.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what comes next, whatever the faith. We know the rhythm of a mandap, a gurdwara and a nikah alike, so the sacred moments are always captured.
Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the timings in advance. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.

Where we travel
We will travel to your temple, gurdwara, mosque, reception and pre-wedding events, wherever they are held. We photograph across Buckinghamshire regularly, and travelling to Aylesbury is second nature.

Very. We photograph the vows and the sacred rituals from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, whatever the tradition, so the ceremony is never disturbed. Our documentary style means the day feels like yours, and we are a calm, unobtrusive presence throughout.
Yes. For celebrations where events are separate or segregated, we can arrange additional photographers so every part of the day is covered with sensitivity and discretion. Just let us know what your family needs when you enquire and we will plan the coverage around it.
Yes. We photograph the muhurtham, the tying of the thali and the many rituals of a Tamil or South Indian wedding, and we understand their early timings and their sequence.

Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the day. We capture the dhol, the dancing and the groom's arrival, and the milni as the two families meet, with all of its energy.
