We have been getting our pictures clicked with Mr. Bhatia for many years now, he is very reliable, excellent at his job and he is great with kids as well! I'd really recommend his services.
Great customer service and very professional. I booked a family photo session with him for a Sunday evening at 5pm however, got stuck in traffic and couldn't get to the studio until 5:45 pm. He was very patient and waited until we got to there. He was very good at making my daughter smile in all the pictures.
We had the loveliest experience having our family photos taken at this photography studio in Northwood Hills. The photographer was absolutely wonderful, so warm, patient and amazing with the kids! He really knew how to keep them entertained and capture their personalities so naturally. 🥰📸 The photos came out absolutely beautiful, and these are memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
What we offer
Outdoor pet portraits on the open grass of Harrow Recreation Ground.
A calm studio at Northwood for cats, small pets and nervous dogs.
Several pets photographed together in one session, with or without their owners.
25+ years behind the lens
Each session follows the animal's pace. There is time to explore and settle, attention is won with treats and sounds rather than force, and breaks are taken whenever a pet tires, so the expressions in the pictures stay bright and natural.
After the session you look through an online gallery and pick your pet's best pictures at leisure. Coats and eyes are retouched with a light hand so colour stays true, and your selection can become a framed print or canvas, or stay as digital files for sharing with family.

Recent work
Most animals relax more readily where they have space to wander and sniff around. Descriptions of these places come from the linked sources, and any rules about dogs are worth checking before a pet session.

Good to know
Patience does most of the work. A pet is given time to explore before any serious pictures, movements are slow and voices quiet, and the session pauses when the animal needs a rest. Owners can stay close, which helps most animals settle quickly.
Yes. Group shots of two or more animals are planned for the moment they are calmest, usually after each has been photographed alone. A helper, often the owner, makes a big difference, and treats are used to bring heads round at the same time.
Yes. Dark fur needs soft, directional light to show texture and to put a catchlight in the eyes. In the studio this is controlled precisely, and outdoors at Harrow Recreation Ground the gentler light of a cloudy day or late afternoon gives a much better result than strong sun.
Then the pictures follow the dog. Plenty of the best frames come from movement, so an energetic animal is photographed running, playing and exploring, with quick reactions behind the camera. A good walk beforehand helps, and calmer moments usually appear as the session goes on.
Mostly household companions: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and the like, with owners in the frame if they want to be. If you have a more unusual animal, get in touch before you book to talk about where and how it would be photographed best.
Serving Harrow on the Hill
Pet sessions bring Kaushik out from Northwood to owners on the hill and to neighbouring areas of Greater London. It sits close to Roxeth and West Harrow, which we cover too. Coming from the Northwood studio to photograph your pet on Harrow Hill is a short journey.
Harrow on the Hill is a historic village built around St Mary's and the school founded in 1572 that Winston Churchill went to. Harrow-on-the-Hill station, on the Metropolitan line and Chiltern Railways, is a short walk down the hill, and Harrow Recreation Ground, a Green Flag park, is reached from the station. When an outdoor pet portrait suits, the hilltop around St Mary's is one possible setting, with Harrow Recreation Ground near the station as another.
