Serving Hemel Hempstead
From our Northwood studio we photograph pets from Hemel Hempstead and all across Kings Langley, Abbots Langley, in the studio or at a favourite local park. We let cats explore the studio at their own pace, and only start photographing once they are curious rather than cautious. We follow your pet's lead, letting an energetic puppy burn off some energy first so the calmer portraits come easily.
A genuine love of animals sits behind everything we do, and it shows in the pictures we make. Years of pet sessions mean we stay calm when an animal does not, and we always find the shot.

What we offer
Patient sessions for the nervous rescue who hides at first, giving it all the time it needs to trust the camera.
Squeaky toys, endless treats and a lot of patience, so your pet enjoys the session rather than enduring it.
Warm portraits of you and your animal together, capturing the easy bond between you without stiff posing.
Twenty-five years behind the lens
Outdoors we let dogs run, sniff and play, then catch the natural, joyful expressions that come when an animal is truly relaxed. We keep our movements slow and our voices gentle, so timid animals stay settled and the session never feels rushed.
A session can take place in our welcoming Northwood studio or outdoors at a park your pet already loves. Multiple pets, mixed households of cats and dogs, and small furry pets are all welcome in a single session.

Good to know
Please do. Your pet's favourite toy or a pocket of treats helps it relax and gives us a way to catch its attention. We bring plenty of our own too, along with squeaky toys and, when needed, a range of very silly noises. This applies across Hemel Hempstead and Boxmoor, Bovingdon and Redbourn.
Absolutely. Some of our favourite pictures show an owner and their pet together, and we would love that for you in Hemel Hempstead. Join the frame to capture your bond, or stay just outside it to keep your animal settled and facing the camera.
Of course. We come to horses and ponies at their stables or in the field, and welcome small pets like rabbits and guinea pigs into the studio. Whatever the creature, our approach stays patient and calm, drawing out its character without ever rushing or unsettling it. In and around Hemel Hempstead that has included Shendish Manor and The Watermill.
Both. Our welcoming Northwood studio suits calm cats and small pets, while energetic dogs often do best outdoors on a park or woodland run. We are happy to photograph wherever your animal is most relaxed and most itself, and can discuss the best option with you. For outdoor photographs in Hemel Hempstead we often use Gadebridge Park, with its walled garden and open riverside fields.
Of course. Anxious cats just need patience, and we have plenty. We keep everything quiet and calm, let your cat wander and sniff at its own speed, and wait until curiosity replaces caution before we start. Gentleness reveals a shy animal's true nature. Locally in Hemel Hempstead that takes in St Mary's Church, one of the finest Norman parish churches in the country.

How it works
We travel to Hemel Hempstead rather than asking you to travel to us. On-location coverage suits weddings, corporate events, team headshots and product shoots, and we bring whatever lighting the space needs. The Northwood studio is available too if you prefer it.
