We photograph dogs, cats and smaller pets in Chorleywood, Heronsgate and Rickmansworth, on the common, in the estate grounds, at home, or at the Northwood studio. Cats and rabbits are done at home without exception, since a cat in an unfamiliar room is a cat underneath a sofa.
Tell us at the booking whether the dog can be trusted off lead on open ground. It changes where we meet rather than whether the pictures work, and it is the single answer that sets the plan. Where recall is not certain we pick ground that keeps a line out of the frame anyway, and nothing is lost by it.

We had a family shoot at the studio, Kaushik took some wonderful photos. He was excellent with the kids and was very good at making them smile naturally, the end results were brilliant. We purchased a canvas and 2 further large framed photos. All completed on time and to perfection. Very pleased.
Having had Mr Bathia to do our family studio photos with our first child, we again went for him second time round with our second child 5 years later. He is extremely good in getting our girls attention to capture lovely photos. He is a great photographer and would definitely recommend him.
Fantastic photographer . Relaxed atmosphere and even made my young children laugh and look at the camera ( which they normally don’t do ) . Amazing results ! Would highly recommend.

- Chorleywood House Estate is a Local Nature Reserve of about 64.6 hectares, designated in 2007 and run by Three Rivers District Council, combining formal parkland, open meadows and mature woodland leading down to the River Chess; dogs are welcome and there is free parking at the main entrance off the A404. 4
- Chilterns dog guidance. Chorleywood lies in the Chilterns, where the National Landscape body asks walkers to keep dogs under close control and in sight and on leads around livestock on its more than 2,000 km of footpaths. 5

The Northwood studio for Chorleywood pets
If you would rather come to us, the studio is at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, about 6 miles from Chorleywood. Studio sittings there are by booking, and passport and ID photos, printing, framing, restoration and digitising are all done on site. Hours are 10:30 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday and 13:00 to 18:00 on Sundays.
