Lloyd Park has its own tram stop, and that decides more about a Croydon sitting than the size of the park does. Arriving by tram means arriving with whatever fits in one bag: no boot to work out of, no spare coat left in the car, no halfway reset. The sensible plan is one background worked properly rather than a tour of everything the park holds. A landscaped park hands you two very different grounds close together.
