My two sisters and I ‘ the golden girls’ had a great, hilarious photo session. Kaushik is very professional and took some amazing photos especially when we were laughing so much trying to get up from the floor. Can’t wait to see ‘air brushed’ version. Well at 75 you need a little help. Definitely recommend Kashuik. He enjoyed our craziness!
An amazing experience from start to finish. The photographer was professional, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. The photos perfectly captured genuine moments between us and turned out even better than we expected. Highly recommend for couples looking for high-quality photography.
Really pleased with my photos. Kaushik is very professional and took lots of picture for us to choose from. Our shoot was comfortable and not too long. I would highly recommend him.
What we offer

Outdoor portraits in Ruislip Woods, where coppiced oak and hornbeam make a soft, layered background.

25+ years behind the lens
Small, calm prompts steer you towards your most flattering angles, and the direction never tips into stiff or forced posing. Outfit changes and pauses fit easily into the sitting, which keeps a portrait session a few minutes from home relaxed and unhurried.
For couples, Kaushik offers light suggestions about closeness and posture, and the pictures come out looking like the two of you. Larger groups are placed and lit so every face reads clearly, and solo frames of each person can be added during the same visit.

Good to know
Yes. A couple can book a session together, in the studio on Joel Street or outdoors somewhere such as Ruislip Woods or the walled garden at Eastcote House Gardens. Kaushik guides how you stand and lean so that the pictures feel close and natural rather than posed, and a mix of joint and individual frames gives you a more varied gallery.
Yes, and it is worth doing. Packing a second or third outfit, perhaps a tailored shirt and a soft knit, lets one sitting produce quite different looks. Plain colours and simple textures photograph best, and if you are coming from elsewhere in Northwood Hills you can easily carry the extras on hangers, with parking close to the studio.
Afterwards an online gallery arrives for you to browse at home, and you pick the portraits you love without being pushed to order extra. Each favourite gets a light, natural retouch that leaves your face recognisably yours, then comes back as web-ready and print-ready files. Should you want something to hold or hang, prints, frames, canvases and albums are available to order too.

Guides
These journal articles can help you prepare for a portrait sitting in Northwood Hills.
For anyone living in Northwood Hills the studio is hardly a journey at all. It sits in the middle of the Joel Street parade, two minutes on foot from the Metropolitan line platforms, with parking close by if you are carrying a change of clothes on hangers. That closeness changes how a portrait sitting can be planned. You can walk down after work on a weekday, or take a Sunday afternoon slot, and arrive without the flush of a rushed trip showing in your face. Outdoors, Ruislip Woods offers something no backdrop can: layers of oak and hornbeam coppice behind you, so the background melts into soft green and brown. Woodland light is cooler and dimmer than most people expect, which favours brighter days and a slightly slower pace while your eyes adjust to the shade. Choose a jacket that separates you from the foliage, such as cream, rust or a clear blue, rather than olive or khaki, which disappear against leaves. If you would rather have structure than wildness, the walled garden at Eastcote House Gardens, with herbaceous borders and an old orchard, frames a figure neatly. When the sky is grey or the forecast is wet, the studio is the better choice and nothing needs to be cancelled.
