…The gentleman took my family and I last minute for a photoshoot. Although we were running extremely late as we had a newborn, he waited patiently for us. He initially said he could only do 30 minutes because we were late but he ended up spending the entire hour and some minutes making sure we had the best photos.

Ealing Broadway is the bustling commercial and transport heart of the London Borough of Ealing in west London. From our Northwood base we photograph portraits in the studio and on location at parks, homes and venues throughout West Ealing, Acton and Hanwell. Family milestones are photographed too, from maternity and newborn sessions to a graduate in a gown, and any of them can take place at the studio or at home in W5, with a first-birthday cake smash at the studio.
Some families want a formal group and others would rather wander, and for the second we would suggest Walpole Park, the 28-acre park opened in 1901 on the former grounds of Pitzhanger Manor and listed Grade II on the Register of Parks and Gardens. Newborn and toddler sessions run to the child's timetable, so we leave room for feeds, naps and a change of plan. Ealing Council holds its statutory register office ceremonies in room N5A at Perceval House, 14/16 Uxbridge Road, W5 2HL, and whether your wedding is a short civil ceremony or several days of celebration, we plan coverage around your traditions and the people who matter most.
At the studio we also restore damaged photographs, enlarge and frame prints, and take passport and visa photos to the official specification. Not at all, we go along with it. Games, running about and a bit of silliness usually give better pictures of children than asking them to hold a pose. For W5 families we keep the session brief, pause whenever a little one needs it, and bring parents into the game when that helps a child relax. What you get is your child as they really are.
Yes, the finished images come as high resolution files with a print release, so any lab can print them. We can also make prints, frames and albums at the studio and check colour and quality ourselves, but that is up to you.
No, you get an edited set chosen from the whole shoot. Blinks, near-duplicates and missed moments are taken out, and the strongest pictures are finished by hand. That leaves a gallery that is easy to enjoy and share, not hundreds of almost identical files.
It is a blend. For most of a session we step back and photograph quietly, so you can forget the camera is there. If a picture needs a nudge, a light prompt usually does it, not a stiff pose. Between the two, the pictures stay relaxed but still look flattering.
