That is perfectly ordinary and never an issue for us. Tears, squirming and sudden sleepiness are all familiar, so we just stop, help settle your little one and pick up where we left off. Patience means an unsettled moment rarely affects the final photographs.

Most family sessions last around an hour, though we never rush. With newborns and toddlers we allow extra time for feeds, naps and cuddles, so your little ones stay happy. The pace is always led by your children, not the clock.

Absolutely you can. Family photography is about everyone together, so parents are firmly part of every Chesham session. We photograph the full family first, then smaller groupings and each child on their own, so you leave with cuddles, connection and every combination beautifully captured.

We offer both. Some families prefer our cosy Northwood studio, which is fully set up for babies and toddlers, while others love an outdoor session in a favourite local park. Just tell us your preference and we will happily suggest what works best.
