Serving Croxley Green
Croxley Green is a village beside the Chess and Gade valleys. Across Rickmansworth, Watford and Sarratt and the rest of Hertfordshire, we cover the nikah, the walima and the celebrations with a careful eye. We work discreetly at mosques and banqueting halls, mindful of prayer times and every family's wishes.
We capture the details too, the henna, the nikah-nama and the mehndi jewellery, that make your day yours. A female photographer is available for the ladies' side, so the women's mehndi and celebrations are fully covered. We photograph the nikah with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind the mahr and the dua.
Whether your celebration is in Croxley Green itself or elsewhere in Hertfordshire, we plan travel and timings with care. Croxley Green is a village beside the Chess and Gade valleys. We also photograph in nearby Sarratt and Knebworth. Close to Croxley Green, we have worked at venues including The Waterside Venue, The Grove and Moor Park Golf Club.
Croxley Green is a Hertfordshire village beside the Chess and Gade valleys, arranged around one of the longest village greens in England. Croxley station sits on the Watford branch of the London Underground Metropolitan line, between Watford and Moor Park. We often take couples to Croxley Common Moor, a 39.5 hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest and Local Nature Reserve for a few quiet portraits, and All Saints Church and the historic tree lined village green known as The Green is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
From the morning preparations to the last dance of the walima, every event told as one story.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your nikah, mehndi and walima.
The nikah-nama signed by the couple and their witnesses, photographed with quiet, respectful care.
Every tradition
The dua at the close of the nikah brings the families together, and we capture it with warmth. The most solemn moments of the nikah are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. The imam's khutbah and the dua that follows are moments of stillness we photograph with respect.
We capture the groom's arrival in procession, surrounded by celebrating family. We photograph the sanchaq and the exchange of gifts between the families with all of their warmth. Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Muslim wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. The mehndi and dholki are lively, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come.
The wedding day itself is a journey, from the nikah and the ijab-e-qubool to the rukhsati and the walima. On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima.
Why choose us
We have built our reputation on discreet, respectful coverage of the nikah and a genuine love of the work. With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a nikah or walima surprises us.
We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout the Home Counties, and Croxley Green is firmly within the area we cover. We will travel to your nikah, your walima and your mehndi and dholki, wherever they are held.

Where we travel
We travel happily across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties for the baraat, the nikah and the walima. We cover the Home Counties and beyond for the mehndi, the nikah and the walima, and travel further afield on request.
