For South Harrow
Whether your pet is a bouncing puppy or a dignified older cat, we photograph animals throughout South Harrow, Harrow and North Harrow with patience and care. Owners are welcome in the pictures too, and we look for the easy affection between you rather than stiff poses. We shoot quickly without hurrying the animal, so expressions stay natural.
The studio lighting is set for your pet's coat, so a black cat or a white dog shows every detail. We photograph pets of every age, from wobbly puppies and kittens to much-loved senior animals.

Me and my family are coming to this studio since last year to have our Christmas picture taken. We've been this year and for sure we are gonna come next year!!!
Beautiful family photos, everyone was made to feel comfortable and relaxed so we got lovely photos with everyone smiling and happy. Photographs are beautiful. Thank you!
We had a large family photoshoot to do which can always be tricky. Kaushik was absolutely fantastic with a myriad of toys and noises to get smiles out of the little ones (they are still talking about the mouse on a stick!). Kaushik took the various different combinations we wanted and positioned each one expertly.
What we offer
Gentle sessions that capture those fast-changing early weeks, from wobbly first steps to the first proper sit.
Dogs photographed mid-leap, ears up and full of energy.
Hand-edited pictures of your pet, ready to share online or print for the wall.
Why choose us
We watch body language closely and give the animal a break whenever it needs one. If your pet is happier outdoors, we can move from the studio to your garden or to a park such as Alexandra Park.
Puppies and kittens change by the week, so an early session records a stage that passes quickly. The whole household can be photographed together, dog or cat included.

Recent work
Outdoors, a dog session in South Harrow would begin on a lead in a quiet corner of a park, well away from Northolt Road traffic, with Harrow's rules on controlling dogs followed throughout. Park details and Harrow's dog rules below are summarised from council and other published pages.

Good to know
There is no rush: your pet gets time to settle before we start. Most sessions last around an hour, and we stop while your pet is still enjoying itself.
No, plenty of dogs are exactly the same. We let an energetic dog play and catch its character in the pauses, keeping within Harrow's Public Spaces Protection Order on controlling and clearing up after dogs. Given open space, such as the grass of Alexandra Park, a dog in full flight can make the best picture of the day. Some of the best frames come from a dog that refuses to sit.
We do. Owners in South Harrow can bring dogs, cats, kittens and small pets to our welcoming Northwood studio, or we can head outdoors to a favourite park instead. Sessions stay calm and relaxed, and everything we do centres on your pet's character and comfort.
Of course you can. Owner-and-pet portraits are often the ones people treasure most. Step into the frame to show the bond between you, or stay just out of shot to keep your pet settled and looking our way.
An edited online gallery follows, showing your pet's character as you know it. From it you can order prints, frames or a canvas. Editing is quick, so the gallery reaches you soon after the session.
Serving South Harrow
South Harrow has two council parks with room for a dog session: Alexandra Park, entered from Alexandra Avenue, Northolt Road and Park Lane, and the Green Flag Roxeth Recreation Ground off Eastcote Road and Wood End Avenue, which has its own car park. It sits close to Harrow and North Harrow, which we cover too. For an outdoor session we come to South Harrow, about 3 miles from Northwood, and do not charge for travel over that short a distance.

At the studio
About 3 miles from South Harrow, the studio at 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU is a calmer setting for cats and small pets than a busy park. Pet and family sittings there are booked ahead, and old prints, frames and negatives can be left with us to restore, scan or reframe. Passport and ID photos are also taken at the studio. Pet sittings run during opening hours, Monday to Saturday 10:30 to 18:00 and Sunday 13:00 to 18:00.
Kaushik Bathia, FBIPP and FMPA, photographs every pet himself; he set up the Northwood studio in 2001, and his work has won five European Kodak Gold Awards.
