Serving Harrow Weald
Harrow Weald is a northern Harrow suburb on the edge of the green belt. Across Greater London, including Harrow, Wealdstone, we photograph the reverence and joy of every Sikh ritual. Whether your Anand Karaj is in Harrow Weald itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We arrive early for the gurdwara start, stay through the doli and keep pace with the reception. Inside the gurdwara we work with great discretion, heads covered and shoes removed, never intruding on the kirtan. We are a reassuring, familiar presence in the gurdwara, so the sangat relax and the day flows naturally.
We are often in Harrow Weald, a northern Harrow suburb on the edge of the green belt, for Sikh weddings, and from London the area, taking in Harrow, Wealdstone, is an easy journey. We also photograph in nearby Hatch End and Havering. Around Harrow Weald we regularly photograph at Grim's Dyke Hotel and Premier Banqueting London, among others.
A northern Harrow suburb that runs up to the wooded green belt at Harrow Weald Common, with a quiet residential character. Served by Harrow and Wealdstone station to the south on the Bakerloo line and London Overground, with buses along the A409 Uxbridge Road. We often take couples to Harrow Weald Common and the adjacent Bentley Priory Nature Reserve for a few quiet portraits, and Grim's Dyke, the former home of librettist W.S. Gilbert, now a Grade II listed hotel is a lovely backdrop nearby.

Every tradition
The most sacred moments inside the gurdwara are captured with a quiet long lens, from a respectful distance. The exchange of garlands and the joy of the sangat around the couple are moments we love to photograph. We photograph the choora and kaleere given to the bride, and the quiet blessings of her elders.
The maiyan, when turmeric is applied, is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest moments. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The jaggo night is an evening of music, dancing and pots lit with candles, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the Anand Karaj. A multi-day Sikh wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them.
For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the milni and the bridal prep. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.
Why choose us
We are trusted with Sikh celebrations of every size, from an intimate darbar sahib to several hundred in the langar hall. Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what comes next, from the sehra bandi to the doli.
From London we reach Harrow Weald easily, and we know the darbar sahib and langar halls of Greater London well. We travel happily across Greater London and the neighbouring counties for the maiyan, the Anand Karaj and the doli alike.

Where we travel
We will travel to your gurdwara, your reception and your pre-wedding maiyan and mehndi, wherever they are held. Multi-venue Sikh days are never an issue; we plan the route from the gurdwara to the reception and the timings in advance.
