Serving Lambeth
Lambeth is a south London borough on the Thames. Wherever your events are held across Southwark, Wandsworth, we plan the timings and travel with care. Your celebration is in experienced hands, from the mehndi to the last dance of the walima.
We photograph the nikah with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind the mahr and the dua. We arrive early for the mehndi, stay late for the walima and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We are at ease with multi-day Muslim celebrations and intimate nikah ceremonies at home alike.
Much of our work takes us across Greater London; Lambeth, a south London borough on the Thames, and the towns around it, including Southwark, Wandsworth, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Lewisham and Merton. We are at home at Lambeth-area venues such as Lambeth Assembly Hall, Brunswick House and Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall.
A diverse south London borough stretching from Waterloo to Streatham, with Brixton at its heart and a strong Caribbean heritage. Served by Waterloo and Vauxhall stations and the Victoria and Northern lines. For portraits away from the celebration, Brockwell Park near Herne Hill and Brixton works beautifully, and Lambeth Palace, the London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
The nikah-nama signed by the couple and their witnesses, photographed with quiet, respectful care.
The agreeing of the mahr and the closing dua of the nikah, photographed quietly and respectfully.
Pakistani, Bengali, Arab, Turkish and Somali nikah customs, each understood and honoured.
Every tradition
The exchange of consent and the joining of the two families is captured as it happens. At the heart of a Muslim wedding is the nikah, the marriage contract that joins the couple. A female photographer can cover the ladies' side of the nikah, so the women's moments are not lost.
We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the family and the celebration around him. The reception and walima are the joyful finale, with speeches, family and dancing. We photograph the sanchaq and the exchange of gifts between the families with all of their warmth.

The whole celebration
Many Muslim weddings begin days before with the mangni, the mehndi and evenings of dholki. The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the mangni to the exuberance of the mehndi.
On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the nikah and the ijab-e-qubool to the rukhsati and the walima.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for the nikah, the signing of the nikah-nama and the emotional rukhsati. We know the rhythm of a nikah by heart, so the ijab-e-qubool and the mahr are always captured.
We travel happily across Greater London and the surrounding counties for the baraat, the nikah and the walima. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to mosques and banqueting halls across London and the surrounding area.

Where we travel
Multi-venue days from the masjid to the banqueting hall are never an issue; we plan the route and prayer times in advance. We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout London and the surrounding area, and Lambeth is firmly within the area we cover.

Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the celebration. We capture the henna, the music and the dancing in Lambeth, and can bring a female photographer where the mehndi is a ladies' event, so nothing of its warmth is missed.
From our London base, Lambeth and the rest of Greater London are an easy, familiar journey. You get a widely experienced Muslim wedding specialist who knows the customs, travels to you without fuss, and can bring a female photographer for the ladies' side.
Yes. We photograph Pakistani, Bengali, Indian, Arab, Turkish and Somali Muslim weddings, and are familiar with the differences in their customs, the events they blend with the nikah, and the order in which the day unfolds.
Yes. We travel to Lambeth and across Greater London for Muslim weddings, and further afield across the UK. The nikah, the mehndi and the walima are a speciality, and distance is never a problem for us.
