Serving Richmond upon Thames
Richmond upon Thames is a riverside south-west London borough with royal parks. Couples come to us from across London and the surrounding area, and Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow are firmly on our patch. We work discreetly at mosques and banqueting halls, mindful of prayer times and every family's wishes.
We are at ease with multi-day Muslim celebrations and intimate nikah ceremonies at home alike. We take time beforehand to understand your customs, from the agreeing of the mahr to the order of the walima. We are a reassuring presence at the banqueting hall, so the baraat and walima flow naturally.
We know Richmond upon Thames and the surrounding part of Greater London well, having photographed Muslim weddings throughout Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow. Richmond upon Thames is a riverside south-west London borough with royal parks, and we are often in nearby Ruislip Manor and Ruislip too. Around Richmond upon Thames we regularly photograph at York House, The Bingham Riverhouse and The Petersham Hotel, among others.
A riverside south-west London borough famous for its royal parks and Thames-side setting. Served by Richmond station on the London Underground District line, South Western Railway and London Overground. For portraits away from the celebration, Richmond Park, with wide open grassland, ponds and ancient trees for outdoor sessions works beautifully, and Richmond Park, a Royal Park and National Nature Reserve home to herds of deer adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints designed around your favourite nikah and walima images.
The groom's family walima feast, from the grand entrance to the last dance, captured in full.
A female second photographer for the ladies' side, so the women's mehndi and celebrations are fully covered.
Every tradition
The imam's khutbah and the dua that follows are moments of stillness we photograph with respect. For many families the qazi conducts the ceremony, and we photograph it exactly as you keep it. The ijab-e-qubool, the proposal and acceptance said three times, seals the marriage, and we capture it with care.
The mehndi night is full of colour, music and dancing, and often holds the warmest moments of all. The music and dancing of the mehndi are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. The dholki brings evenings of singing and drumming before the wedding, and we photograph their energy.

The whole celebration
Many families hold a mangni long before the wedding, and a mehndi the night before the nikah. The mehndi brings an evening of henna, music and dance before the wedding day itself.
We know the order and timing of the wedding day, so we are always in position for each moment. Whether the nikah and walima are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it.
Why choose us
Decades of weddings mean we read the masjid instinctively and never miss the moment the nikah-nama is signed. We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing the mehndi and the walima for twenty-five years.
We are used to celebrations spread from the mosque to the banqueting hall, and keep the day flowing between them. We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
From our London base, Richmond upon Thames and the rest of Greater London are an easy journey for your nikah. We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout London and the surrounding area, and Richmond upon Thames is firmly within the area we cover.

Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
You will receive a small preview soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery. We then design a hand-finished album that holds the whole story of your celebration.
Yes. We photograph Pakistani, Bengali, Indian, Arab, Turkish and Somali Muslim weddings, and are familiar with the differences in their customs, the events they blend with the nikah, and the order in which the day unfolds.
