Serving Richmond upon Thames
Richmond upon Thames is a riverside south-west London borough with royal parks. We travel throughout Greater London for Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings, and Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow are all familiar to us. Your celebration in Richmond upon Thames is in experienced hands, from the first event to the last dance.
We let the day unfold at its own pace and meet it with a quiet, watchful eye. We read the rhythm of an Asian celebration and are always in the right place at the right time. We balance documentary coverage with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both energy and elegance.
Whether your celebration is in Richmond upon Thames itself or elsewhere in Greater London, we plan travel and timings with care. Richmond upon Thames is a riverside south-west London borough with royal parks. We also photograph in nearby Ruislip Manor and Ruislip. Around Richmond upon Thames we regularly photograph at York House, The Bingham Riverhouse and The Petersham Hotel, among others.
A riverside south-west London borough famous for its royal parks and Thames-side setting. Served by Richmond station on the London Underground District line, South Western Railway and London Overground. For portraits away from the celebration, Richmond Park, with wide open grassland, ponds and ancient trees for outdoor sessions works beautifully, and Richmond Park, a Royal Park and National Nature Reserve home to herds of deer adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
From the morning preparations to the last dance, every event told as one story.
Two families' customs blended and photographed with equal care.
Fine prints and framed art to bring your favourite images home.
Every tradition
At a Muslim nikah we photograph the vows, the mehr and the joyful moment the couple are declared married. For Tamil and South Indian families, the muhurtham and the tying of the thali are the sacred centre of the ceremony. Whatever your family keeps, Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati or Tamil, we follow the ritual closely and respectfully.
For Muslim families the walima is a warm celebration in its own right, and we cover it in full. The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. We capture the family moments around the couple, not just the rituals.

The whole celebration
We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations. A celebration often opens with an intimate mehndi at home and a lively sangeet full of music and dance.
We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception. For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the baraat and the preparations.

Good to know
Yes. For larger Asian weddings we bring a second photographer so simultaneous events and big guest lists are fully covered, and the baraat and the preparations can be captured at once.
Yes. We are comfortable photographing respectfully in temples, gurdwaras and mosques, as well as mandaps, marquees and banqueting halls. We work quietly around the priest, the granthi or the imam, often with a long lens, so the ceremony is never disturbed.
Of course. We regularly photograph fusion and mixed-faith weddings, blending the traditions of both families with care and understanding. Having worked across Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil ceremonies, we are well placed to tell the story of a day that brings two customs together.
Yes. A pre-wedding shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day, and we are happy to arrange one at a location you love.
Yes. Twenty-five years across Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings mean we know each tradition's order of events, so we are always in position for the moments that matter.
