We give your pet time to sniff, explore and get used to the camera before asking for any poses. Outdoors, a short walk usually takes the edge off excitement. Treats, toys and odd noises come out in short bursts to catch alert ears, and plenty of breaks keep things relaxed.
You browse the finished gallery online and select favourites without pressure. Retouching removes leads, stray hairs and distractions while keeping colour and markings accurate. Pet images come web ready and print ready, and frames, canvases, prints and albums can be ordered for the home.

Kaushik took a photograph of my grand-daughter. The final product was superb. My little 2 year old girl was kept so calm and at ease with Kaushik’s kindness. We will now always use Kaushik for our photography.
Very good experience. Did a family shoot at Kaushik Bathia's studio yesterday. He was amazing at getting all of us to give natural smiles.
Kaushik is a fantastic photographer and has captured some superb family memories for us! Great service with high quality, professional images.

Why choose us
Shooting at your animal's eye level makes the pictures feel close and full of the character you see at home. We move quickly without hurrying the animal, catching natural expressions over posed ones.
Outdoor sessions can use woodland, open ground or your usual walk, wherever your dog feels happiest. Wall art, albums and desk prints let your pet's personality show up all around the house.

Good to know
The studio is about 6 miles from Cowley, and sessions can also run outdoors by the canal, the lake or on open grass nearby. Kaushik Bathia FBIPP FMPA has five European Kodak Gold Awards, the studio dates from 2001, and it is rated 4.8 from 580+ Google reviews. Each pet session moves at your animal's speed, and owners can join in or stay out of shot.
Horses cannot come to the studio, so a horse session would take place outdoors, typically where the horse is kept, as long as that is within about 20 miles of Northwood. Please call or send a WhatsApp message to talk through the yard, the light and whether you would like to be in the pictures too.
Yes, and the studio is usually the best place for it, about 6 miles from Cowley, quiet and with no unfamiliar animals around. Bring your cat in its carrier, let it come out in its own time and allow plenty of pauses. Sessions follow the animal, so a shy cat is never forced into a pose.
Yes. Group shots of two or three pets take some patience, so we photograph each animal on its own first and then try them together. Having a helper for each pet makes a big difference. Outdoors, Cowley Recreation Ground gives more space for a multi pet session than the narrow canal towpath.
Then we photograph the movement. Walking along the towpath near Cowley Lock or playing on the recreation ground gives lively images, and a still portrait can come later once your dog has settled. Treats, a new squeaky noise or simply waiting quietly usually produces a moment of focus.
Serving Cowley
Cowley, the canal village south of Uxbridge, falls inside the area where we photograph pets outdoors. It sits close to Uxbridge and Hillingdon, which we cover too. Cowley pets that are happier indoors can be photographed at the Northwood studio.
The listed buildings at Cowley Lock, a toll house and lock-keeper's cottage on the Grand Union, make a characterful backdrop for an outdoor pet session. Just along at Cowley Peachey the Slough Arm branches off, and Little Britain Lake in the west of Cowley is another waterside setting. Owners travelling with a pet by Tube can use Uxbridge station, terminus of the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines and about 1.3 miles from Cowley. For on-location sessions we can head to spots such as Cowley Recreation Ground, close to the well-known the Grade II listed toll house at Cowley Lock.

The same photographer also offers family, portrait, headshot and commercial sessions to Cowley clients. Explore the rest: we also cover pet photography across Greater London, including Queen's Park, Ickenham, Wealdstone, Muswell Hill, Winchmore Hill and Belmont.
Owners in Cowley have canal, lake and open grass within a short walk, which gives a pet session plenty of variety. The Grand Union Canal towpath past Cowley Lock is good for walking shots, with the listed toll house and old brickwork in the background, though towpaths are shared with cyclists and walkers, so a calm dog on a lead is the safest plan. Little Britain Lake, west of the village between the Colne and the Frays River, is known for less common water birds such as gadwall and great crested grebe, which can be a gift or a problem: a curious spaniel will look beautifully alert, but a determined chaser may need a long line and a quieter corner. Cowley Recreation Ground, on the old parkland of Cowley House, has more open space for play and running pictures. Bring a towel, as dogs that love water will find it here. A favourite toy held just above the lens gives that head tilt everyone wants, and short bursts of attention work better than a long session of commands. Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and anxious rescues are usually happier in the studio, about 6 miles away on the Northwood Hills parade, where there are no birds, boats or bicycles to distract them. The animal decides the pace, and owners can join in or stay out of the pictures.
