Product pictures, shopfronts, interiors and staff portraits for Oxfordshire businesses, photographed on your premises or at the Northwood studio.
The short answer
Yes. Kaushik photographs products, premises, staff and day-to-day work for businesses in Oxford, Bicester, Banbury and the surrounding villages, either on site or at the studio in Northwood. Oxford and Bicester are about 38 miles away and Banbury about 51. Travel from Northwood is quoted up front and set out in writing, and the shoot is planned around where the images will be used.
Our usual session area is within about 20 miles of the studio. Further out in Oxfordshire, sessions are by arrangement, with travel quoted in writing before you book.
Pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Kaushik photography. An excellent professional to work with. I was very pleased with the outcome of my product photographs - thank you!
Excellent service! I went to Kaushik for a headshot photo - the entire process was quick and professional & the photos were high-quality, edited fantastically and exactly what I needed!
Fantastic photographer with great attention to detail. Very professional and easy to work with, and the final photos were outstanding. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to others.
Products
Clean product shots on white for an online shop, styled shots for social media and pictures of products in use are three different jobs, so we start by asking where each image will appear. Small items can be sent or brought to the Northwood studio, where the lighting is controlled; larger items, or anything that cannot travel, are photographed at your premises in Oxfordshire.
Banbury is a historic market town known for Banbury cakes, a spiced sweet pastry, and food producers there and across the county need pictures that show texture and scale. With food, we shoot quickly while it is fresh and plan the styling with you before the day, so nothing goes to waste.

Premises
Oxford's centre is built around Carfax, where pedestrianised Cornmarket Street meets Queen Street, St Aldate's and the High Street. A shopfront on a pedestrianised street is easier to photograph early in the morning, before footfall builds, and interiors are simplest to light when the shop is closed.
Bicester Village, the designer outlet on the edge of Bicester, opened in April 1995 and now has more than 150 boutiques, and the town around it has been a designated garden town since 2014. For independent businesses in a growing town, current pictures of the premises and the people help new customers know what to expect. We photograph exteriors, interiors, fixtures and details, with straight verticals and true colour.
Working premises with history are worth showing. Tooley's Boatyard on the South Oxford Canal in Banbury, for example, has worked continuously since 1778 and keeps a covered dry dock and a 200-year-old forge; any workshop, kitchen or yard with that kind of story gives commercial pictures real character.
People at work
Customers like to see who they will deal with. Alongside product and premises shots, we photograph staff portraits and people at work: a baker shaping dough, a mechanic under a car, a consultant with a client. These pictures make an About page or a LinkedIn post feel real. For matching team headshots, see headshots in Oxfordshire.
We plan the day so the business keeps running, photographing in one area while staff carry on in another. If you need a mix of portraits, interiors and products, one visit to your Oxfordshire premises can cover all three, which keeps the drive from Northwood to a single journey.

Booking
Send us a short brief: what you need photographed, how many final images, where they will be used and when you need them. Commercial prices depend on that brief and are given on request by phone or WhatsApp on 07956 505383. Travel from Northwood to your Oxfordshire premises is set out in your written quote before you agree to the job.
See our commercial photography page for more on product and premises work, and the Oxfordshire photographer page for other services in the county, including event photography for launches and openings.
Planning
List the products, rooms or people, the number of images and where each will be used, so the shoot at your Oxfordshire premises runs to plan.
A shopfront on Cornmarket Street or Banbury's High Street photographs cleanly before customers arrive and the pavement fills.
Small items can go to the Northwood studio for controlled lighting, which saves a trip to Oxfordshire for anything that fits in a box.
Product, interior and staff pictures on the same day keep the travel from Northwood to one journey and give your website a consistent look.
These facts about Oxfordshire's high streets and town centres, each with a source, are useful when planning premises and shopfront pictures.

Town by town
The Oxfordshire towns below show their mileage from the Northwood studio, which helps you decide between an on-site shoot and sending products to us.
Good to know
Yes. We bring a portable backdrop and lights to set up a small product area on site, which suits items that are large, fragile or in daily use. For small items in bulk, the studio in Northwood gives very consistent results from one product to the next.
Yes. Food needs to be photographed quickly while it looks fresh, so we agree the dishes and styling in advance and set up the light before the kitchen sends anything out. Window light suits cafés and bakeries in Oxford's older buildings and in Banbury's town centre.
Commercial prices depend on what is photographed, how many final images you need and how they will be used. They are given on request by phone or WhatsApp on 07956 505383, and your written quote also sets out travel from Northwood to Oxford, Bicester or Banbury.
Yes, and it saves a second trip. We start with interiors while the space is tidy, then photograph people in a meeting room or at their workstations, and finish with any products. A single visit suits Oxfordshire businesses 38 to 51 miles from Northwood.
Tell us where the pictures will be used when you send the brief, whether that is your website, social media, print or adverts, and we will confirm the usage in writing alongside your quote before the shoot is booked.
Not for every shot. Product close-ups and staff portraits can happen during opening hours. Wide interiors and shopfronts look cleaner without customers, so for those we suggest an early start before you open, agreed with the drive from Northwood in mind.
Every session is photographed by Kaushik Bathia himself, FBIPP and FMPA, holder of five European Kodak Gold Awards, who opened the Northwood studio in 2001.
