West Drayton's centre lies 1.9 miles north of Heathrow Airport, close to the Colne Valley Regional Park, and it was once an ancient Middlesex parish. West Drayton grew around its historic green and the 15th-century Church of St Martin. Its railway station opened in 1838 on Brunel's Great Western main line and is now served by the Elizabeth line. The station, in fare zone 6, also has Great Western Railway services and has stood on its present site since 1884. For portraits away from the celebration, Little Britain Lake in the Colne Valley Regional Park is one option, with the 15th-century Church of St Martin beside West Drayton Green adding a real sense of place.

Lighting and background stay the same for every person so the set matches, and people come through one at a time to keep the working day moving. When someone new joins, the same setup can be recreated so their headshot matches the rest.
Both. In the Northwood studio the lighting is ours to control, which suits headshots, newborns, portraits and product work and means a wet day in west London changes nothing. Outdoors, we would suggest the lakes and footpaths of Stockley Country Park or the surviving Paget manor wall and gatehouse, or we can come to your home. One booking can easily combine the two, starting in the studio and finishing outside.
We certainly do. A pet session is shaped around your animal, in the studio or outdoors somewhere like Stockley Country Park, which has 11 lakes and footpaths across the park and along the canal side. Hillingdon Council signs show where dogs must be on a lead, and dogs are not allowed in children's play areas, so we would plan an outdoor session around those rules and let your pet set the pace. Owners are welcome to be in some of the pictures as well.

You will find the studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, about seven miles north of West Drayton; the nearest station is Northwood Hills on the Metropolitan line. Portrait, family and headshot sessions happen there, and you can also bring in prints, frames, old photographs and negatives for work in house. The studio also takes passport and ID photos. Opening hours are 10:30 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday and 13:00 to 18:00 on Sunday.
