Always, because safety outranks every pose. The studio is kept warm, we move slowly, and a baby is never placed in any position that is not fully supported. A lot of the poses seen online are in fact two safe frames combined in editing. One parent is always within arm's reach, and your baby's cues set the pace from start to finish.
Usually held around a first birthday, a cake smash lets your child tuck into a cake while we photograph the happy mess.
