Serving Wembley
Portrait sittings cover Wembley and its neighbouring streets, with Preston, Tokyngton and Stonebridge booked on identical footing. Most are made outdoors in the park at the centre of the district, with the Northwood studio standing ready for the days when the sky flatly refuses to help.
Bookings here are usually one person, occasionally two, and the request is nearly always for a single portrait they are willing to use everywhere. Separation does the work here. We put several metres between sitter and background and reach for a long lens, so the park reduces to colour. Clothing is then chosen backwards from that: mid-tones, no green.

What we offer
King Edward VII Park sittings outdoors, timed for the hours that patch of green actually holds usable light.
Long lens, wide aperture, background reduced to tone. The picture is about the person, never the location.
Northwood studio available whenever weather rules out the park, with light we control and a background of your choosing.
Local and experienced
We agree an entrance to meet at, walk between two or three spots inside the park, and finish within ninety minutes without anyone covering much ground.
You see what we have as we work, so nothing at all waits for a reveal at the end. Editing happens only on the frames you choose, worked by hand instead of run through a batch, and the finished pictures go into a private gallery, at full resolution for printing and reduced again for phones and profiles.

Good to know
Either. King Edward VII Park takes most Wembley portrait sittings, which suits people who would rather not spend an afternoon travelling for a photograph. The other option is the Northwood studio: the light there is ours to set instead of the weather's, and the background is whatever we decide it should be. Sittings at home work too, provided there is a window and a clear stretch of floor. Tell us which at booking.
Yes, portfolios are one of our specialities. Whether you are based in Wembley or travelling in, we build a varied set of looks and lighting styles, from clean commercial frames to more characterful ones. We know what casting looks for, and guide your expressions and poses throughout.
Yes, but lightly and naturally. We smooth away passing distractions such as a stray hair or a blemish, while keeping your skin, lines and character exactly as they are. The aim is always a flattering, true-to-life portrait that looks like you rather than a heavily edited image. Wembley and neighbouring Preston, Tokyngton and Stonebridge are all covered.
Not long at all, as we keep turnaround fast. Once the shoot is finished, we edit your images with care and send you a gallery to pick your favourites from. Prints, frames, canvases or albums you go on to order then arrive shortly after that. Outdoors in Wembley we would head for King Edward VII Park, a green space in the heart of Wembley.
The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6. Wembley Park and Northwood share the Metropolitan line, so getting here is one train with no parking to think about. In Wembley the studio earns the booking when weather has closed in, when the picture wants a background with nothing in it, or when the only free evening falls in winter and daylight has already gone.
Serving Wembley
Our studio is in Northwood, so Wembley (HA9) is part of our core Greater London area. It sits close to Brent and Harrow, which we cover too. Sessions run at the studio or on location in Wembley, and there is no travel charge for local bookings.
Wembley is a hugely diverse district of the London Borough of Brent, home to major Hindu temples, gurdwaras and grand banqueting suites near the stadium. Wembley Park station on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, with Wembley Central and Wembley Stadium stations nearby. Sessions on location near Wembley often use King Edward VII Park, with Wembley Stadium close at hand.

King Edward VII Park is where a Wembley sitting gets planned, and its position matters as much as its planting. A green space with the district built up on all sides gains the sun late in the morning and loses it early in the evening, so the workable window is narrower than a sunrise table suggests. From October to February that costs nothing, because the sun never climbs high enough to be a nuisance and the whole short day is usable. From May onward the reasoning inverts: midday here is flat and unkind, and the final two hours before sunset are the only ones worth booking at all. Grass and mature planting throw green upward onto a face, and green in the skin is stubborn to correct once it has arrived. Two habits fix it. Stand the sitter where open sky rather than canopy is doing the lighting, and keep green out of the clothing. Charcoal, navy, rust and warm neutrals all hold up well against park foliage. White is the other item to leave in the wardrobe, since it will out-read the face in every frame it appears in. Wembley is not a scenic backdrop and a portrait made here has no need of one. We work well back, on a long focal length, so whatever stands behind the sitter becomes tone instead of detail and the person is left as the only thing in the frame with edges. Sittings in Preston, Tokyngton and Stonebridge follow precisely the same reasoning.
